The course was brilliantly comprehensive in both dimensions, theoretically and practically, imposing the highest quality in my opinion. After I had completed the courses I found out how the course was relevant from people who were already working. Most importantly, I passed the exam from the first time. This course is a real deal. Signing up for the course has been one of the best decisions I have made.
I signed up not knowing anything about Business analysis. It was a bit
daunting a first as I had no Business/IT background or experience. But
with such amazing tutors and mentors, it is no wonder how I quickly
secured a Business Analyst role.
The course was thorough and very interesting in the respect of all areas
of Business Analysis. Most of all I enjoyed the personalisation of the
teaching environment; it was very laid back yet engaging; with
very effective, knowledgeable and entertaining tutors who always
ensured that everything was understood before moving forward.
The ongoing support after completion of the training was superb
with all the tutors on hands with any help needed; including the
writing of CV's, application for jobs and interview preparation.

I signed up for the course after completing project management training a few years
earlier. I had only been able to put it to use very intermittently and i felt that a BA
course would provide the necessary transferrable skills to enable me to work on
projects full time. Also, I felt like I had most of the basic skills required for most of the
BA roles I saw advertised. I needed some help with the key/core skills. I also had
some brilliant feedback from BA’s within the industry and this was all the convincing I
needed.
My research showed quite a few possible training courses but 3 reasons revealed
Shields Training to be the best option. It was the best value for money and the
structure of the course meant i didn’t have to take any time off work. Last but not
least was the mentorship program that was provided. This was possibly the most
important aspect as I realised that it was important to get me over the line and help
me obtain a BA role.
The training was conducted in a very fun, friendly & comfortable environment. The
tutors had extensive industry experience and the 2:1 ratio of students to tutors was
extremely impressive. Practical experiences and different workplace scenarios were
discussed to give an idea of the challenges a typical BA would have to overcome.
The content, structure, workshops and group assignments allowed me to get the
best out of the experience. The training materials were 1st class and I still refer back
to them today.
The work didn’t stop after the training as the mentorship programme then took over. I
was given help re-writing my CV & sending out job applications. My mentor also
gave me help with my interview preparation. Where I wasn’t successful, the
training/mentorship ensured i was always better prepared for the next interview and
my confidence grew.
Shortly after training and a couple of interviews later, I secured a BA role. The
knowledge and confidence I obtained from the training was immeasurable as i
definitely wouldn’t have gotten this far without it. This is only the beginning and the
best is yet to come.
I highly recommend the Shields training course for both beginner BA's and as a
refresher course. It is second to none.

I joined the course with very little knowledge of Business Analysis. I was looking for a career change and this training broadened my mind and the possibilities I could achieve. The course content has tools that are useful in

I enjoyed this course. The interaction with the other students I got to know and still speak with a couple of
them occasionally. We were able to complete projects within the course which I could use as a reference when
completing job interviews. The tutor was patient and could assist us well from his fountain of knowledge and
good character. The course was able to give me the knowledge to not only handle Interviews and the job but
the skills I learned have helped me in day-to-day life. My initial pull to this course was hearing from someone else who completed the course and is now a Business Analyst but I also found that the price was great compared to the
other courses I researched prior as well as the support and the access to resources once I completed the course. I am grateful that I have now been working as a Business Analyst for over 2 years.
